Ummm...meow?

Man, Im dying right now...I cant think of a caption or anything clever...(not that I ever have)...ummm...I really like this photo but it has nothing to do with any other post...

I guess I can just upload a bunch of pics of random cats...

Or how about I say 'Hey Falesha, if you look after Louis proper enough, he can look like this someday..."

"...a liger?"
"oh is it ever. Its only my favoritest animal."

Spexxx's BBQ

Yea, so I came on some real minority time to Spexxx's jam. lol It started at 5 and I didnt get there til 11. Its aite...6 hours aint too bad. lol But dont forget I had a 2 year old's bday just before I got here.

Anyhow, I didnt take as many pics as I did recording videos.

Nothing too exciting happens in the vids... but hopefully my hosting is adequate. lol
Enjoy it my friends.

Aimlessly...?

So Saturday was an action packed day...ummm...it started mad early. Falesha and I headed off to Yorkdale to buy a gift for Gemini's 2 year old's bday...and decided to get on a fat boy slim diet and bought ourselves frozen yogurts...

(and yea i know...My legs need to be re-tanned...assholes! its almost winter and ill be in pants soon anyhow...lol)

so here's a short clip from the bday.
I didnt really do any real editin but its just up so you get an idea...lol

Happy 2nd bday Jalen!

Tremendous at 4am

I haven't been to Tremendous in forever...esp since I've started going to Garden.
But Tremendous is bomb for a few reasons...it has all day DIM SUM motherfuckers!!!
and...well this may cause a lotta drama...but the General Tao is actually better at Tremendous...no lie. lol

Mon, Val, Julia, Emmy and Justin decide that they're fat and that we should all eat after they leave from 'The Patio' @ Skybar. Being a member of Broke Phi Broke...its a bit difficult, but its watevs...I need to eat...and worst come to worst...ill start running bake sales and speedo car washes...*ahem

HAPPY BDAY P-PLUS!

This past Friday was P-Plus' bday at Empire Lounge and I had the honour of documenting the jam.
Once again, Im not posting all the pics, here are just some important faces you need to know, or just faces that I already know. lol.

And if you weren't there...tisk tisk.

more ink?

So on Thursday, I dropped by my dude, Adam's spot for some more ink and color.
My arm already has 11 hours on it, and we added another 4.

Appt was at 930am...frackin frack...try getting out of bed for a tatt at that time and going to sleep around 4am the night before...I was nodding off while sitting in the chair and fuckin lighter than a feather from all the pain killers.

Mon and Seven came by near the end of the tatt to do some quick documentation.

Its not done yet, I still gotta finish up the inside of my arm, connect the piece on my back to my arm and a crackload of other small details...so im assuming...maybe another 7 or so hours...lol.

And heres a short video of the blood bubbling on my arm while i was getting tatted.

Not Skating @ the Skate Park

We didn't skate...but we did take pics...*ahem.
Those white kids were too crazy...I had to sit out...and plus i only had 3 major wipeouts from a couple days before...and i accidentally did the splits while falling during one of the falls. lol

The night went exceptionally well...too many things to list.

PS. Everyone thinks ur the bomb like tick tick...

Grillin' @ Addy's

Just some pictures that were taken during a random bbq at Addy's crib. Ummm...nothing really interesting happened...except...well nothing really interesting happened...sadly. But the chicken was frickin delicious!

(PS. most of these pics were taken by Lance and Fresh)

Dj Se7en

Yea, we know Seven as my right hand man (pause) with my photography.
He also happens to be a DJ...but hes on some shit...like i dont even think you guys are even ready for one of his sets yet.

He's putting together his mix soon...so ill let you guys know when its done.
But in the meantime, y'all can catch my brother spinning at JFK lounge on Fridays in Sauga.

Keep on keeping my dude.

The Highlight of My Night

After the Nike Party, we headed over to College St Bar for Bozacks birthday party where Big Jacks, Mensa and Royale was spinning. (Im still with Bry and the Livestock crew at this point)

But you won't see any pics of the party because I spent 12am-2am picking up Falesha in the east end. yea...i know, long time right? Worth it? Absolutely.

So we arrived at the bar again around 215am, the security guard didnt let us in cuz of the time, but Bryan got us in.

Thank god Bryan got himself a 12 pack and saved Falesha and I some beers. If anyone knows me, I dont hold beers or liquor anymore, I just throw that shit back. And that was exactly what I did.

The most significant part of the evening was the moment in which Falesha and Bryan finally met. If you guys knew the value of Bryan in terms of his contribution to my career and perspective on life and the value of Falesha in terms of her contribution to my happiness...you'd get the signicance of the moment for me.

We stayed at College St Bar til we were kicked out. And then Bryan says this:

frickin marvelous right? lol

Anyways, we went walked over to Revival after, where we jammed for a bit to the...I dont even know what kind of music it was...I just remember dancers with inappropriate dance moves that no grown men should have done. Anyone who was there knows what I mean. lol

After that we all went out to Garden and met up with Addy and stayed there til 5am...Of course the rest of the evening/ morning only got better thanks to Falesha's company. Let's just say, we had a very crucial conversation that really changed things. I wont get into any details because you'll all squirm...lol. But lets just say, my heart has never been so content while driving home alone. And lets also say I left 'Sunshine' by Lupe Fiasco on repeat the whole drive.

Once again...thank you for taking the time to meet my friends and thank you...just because.

NIKE SPORTSWEAR BLOCK PARTY

While I was at the dunk off at Livestock, my dude Skam asked if I wanted to reach an invite only Nike Industry Party at Guv...i responded simply with 2 words...'fuck yea!'

Big ups to Skam and the LS crew for letting me tag along.

Free beers, finger foods and nintendo wii...yea, the goodlife right? lol
The party ended at 11, and we had so many untouched beers that we stuffed them in our pockets and walked out with them...what would u do? theyre free beers!

warning: shitty photo quality...taken with my point and shoot and not my slr.

I'd prolly be just the same

ok, i usually wouldnt do this but this is fuckin hilarious. I promise this will be the only video that doesnt belong to me that i post...

but its just marvelous...pure fuckin marvel i swear it!

ive watched this clip like 20 times already!

Dunk Off @ Livestock

Self explanatory...all dunks were missed...lol

Ummm...stuff?

I had to be in the building yesterday to do some photography for all 4 stores...(gdft, ransom, stussy and nomad) ... but here are some odd moments...and stuff...

Whylin'???

First of all, sorry for leaving you guys hanging for the last 2 days...I sent my laptop in for repairs...somehow my laptop caught gonorhea (i dont know how to spell it. Hard to spell. Easy to catch! lmao). Im not supposed to be getting it back for another month or so...so forgive me in advance. Im at seven's house right now and gonna try to blog as much as i can before he kicks me out.

Anyways, if you were'nt at the Grand Finale of SFSC on friday...i have no idea what you were doing. Besides missing an awesome party...you missed my greatest "im fuckin fuct" performance ive ever dropped. I think i was dancing on couches, passing out on couches, stumbling on stairs, throwing back beers and liquor, in fact the security sat me out for the last 10 minutes cuz he said i was being a jerk. lmao. fuckin photographers!

I posted some awesomely amazing embarrassing pics of myself too...enjoy this while i still have no humility. lol

One of Those Days

Bryan once told me that I have a power that no one else has. That I have the power to make things eternal and to freeze time. I can make one moment in time last forever. I have a power that not many people do.
He was referring to my photography.
I took in what Bryan said very seriously, and I have been thinking of it ever since he said it.
There are certain moments that are too beautiful to just be saved to my memory. Some moments too wonderfully detailed to remember when I get old. Some moments are too amazing and they need to be shared.

Today was filled with those moments.

Falesha and I headed out today and hunted for interesting book store and books. We found a few really neat and unique places. We also went for a short walk through Kensington.
One of the best parts of the evening was our marathon walk from Queen, up Yonge to Bloor, to Bay, back down to Dundas...She's the most gangster walker I've ever met in 3 lives. Word.
I'm smiling a tad too much right now to properly process my thoughts and emotions and accurately describe how well my day went. Hopefully my photos are a lot better at this than I am.

Thank you again for the Hero Burger...and another memorable evening. *will tips his hat

Ignorantly Idealistic

This is loosely written in response to the crap load of messages I received in regards to the Olympic post I wrote a few days ago.

This is not a rebuttal or an argument in any form, but simply me explaining why I think the way I do.
Yes, there are a billion and 10 things wrong with the Olympics because of what it represents...from human rights, capitalism, the western imperialism, huck schmuckum, yada yada!

But I'm that dude.

I'm that dude who chooses to overlook the fact that there are a lot of negative things that come along with positive things. This is not to say I don't accept its reality. Everything has a cost. The ends does not always justify the means and that is certainly not the point that I am getting at. Its Yin and Yang. There is good and bad in everything. I choose to see the brighter side and find ways to reduce the darker side.

Im kind of well known for being ignorantly idealistic. That no matter how much adversity stands in front of me, I choose to be positive. I am not stubborn though. I can accept defeat, but there's nothing wrong in believing.

You do not have to accept the way the world is handed to you. I do not believe in fate. I do not believe in destiny. And yes, I am an atheist. I believe that I can create my own path. Everyone has a different starting point, a different team that sits on the sidelines...but all in all, its you. Life is about what you do with what has been given to you. Do you cry and sulk about how you don't have what you want? Or do you act on what you lack and pursue what you need?

In my opinion, it is too easy for you to blame destiny or fate when wrong things happen. Every decision you make today affects your tomorrow. When something wrong happens, I will own up to it, accept it and move on.
But I do not credit myself with all of my supposed 'successes.' Like I mentioned, we all have a team thats guiding us on the sidelines (whether some of us will acknowledge that team or support or not is a different story). My success in the things I do is based on how well I was able to use the information and guidance given to me by my 'life coaches' (family and friends).

For me, life is about responsibility, learning and making the right choices. I have made many many mistakes in my life. But the key is to learn. There are so many mistakes I still have to make in this life and I refuse to waste my time making the same ones over and over again.

Life is a beautiful thing. Its too short to be negative. Maybe I am really ignorant because I wish that the world would some day find peace; that murders, wars, genocides, inequality, modern slavery, rape, racism, corruption, dictatorships, economic colonialism/ imperialism etc will some day disappear.
Maybe I am just a fool.

But is it really wrong that I dream of a better world? Is it wrong that I choose to believe change is possible?
I still believe in love, in family, in true friends, in loyalty, in dreams (although I have fuct up in most of these categories) even when almost everyone else around me does not. Its ok though. Someone has to be ignorantly idealistic. I'll volunteer.

It's funny, I sat in the car with my mom today, I dont remember what we were talking about but she said, "This world is a cruel place. Don't talk about love. You're too nice. No such thing as love for others. Dont ever think that the world will care for you in your time of need. Everyone is self-interested."

Are they? Or is everyone just self interested in reaction to how they THINK the rest of society is?

As much as I may sound like Captain Planet right now...the world can be better a better place. But it can only change when our mentality does and our hearts open up...change is possible.

I guess in a way, me even writing this post is for you to possibly start thinking differently. I am taking that initiative. I'm doing my small part to create change through a medium I feel is most affective for me.
Of course I know most of you guys will just think I'm an emo sop and just laugh. But thats ok. I understand that not all of us can relate based on our life experiences and I can accept that.
I am not great with words so this post may not suffice in changing your minds. This is why I take pictures...Its worth a lot more than I could ever type or explain with words. I want to show you that beauty and happiness could happen in the most simplistic moments. Don't take this life for granted, for some people, today will be their last tomorrow. Take some time to take in and understand what fortune you have been blessed with and share it if possible.

There are only so many hours in a day; there's barely have enough time to smile and love. Take that into consideration.

Love is infinite...you won't run out if you give some away...

But you can call me ignorant.

Late Nite Skate

I suck at skating, I dont even know why I have a board...it was an impulse purchase thats for sure...plus my board looks really good.
Everything part of my board is pro...except the rider. lol *pause

Anyhow, I introduce to you (the readers), two new cast members of the blog, my homie Steve (of Signature Shears) and homette Addis (of Manifesto and Ignite and a million and 3 other things).

I dont understand how it was their first time skating and they killed it...ive been skating for 3 weeks...well 3 times in the last 3 weeks and I can barely steer. Well I can only steer right...so basically, I can only skate in circles...who would enjoy that? Well maybe if ur a Nascar fan...

Anyways, heres some cool pics...sorta, kinda, not really...lol
and check out Moe's Bart Simpson skateboard at the end of the post. lol

Ideall Clothing: Obama Tee

My sensei Bryan, has come up with yet another marvelous design for his Ideall Clothing line.

I'm not going to say too much about the concept, just simply based on the fact that Bryan is much better with words than I am. But click here to read his inspiration behind the artwork.

Please msg me or just hit up Bryan at be@thelegendsleague.com if you're interested asap.

Finally!!!

"Its about time!" (in my best Elephant Man impression)
Mon finally got her blackberry...asshole got a blue world edition...so jealous...
She was practising all night how to put her phone in the holster with one hand and look pro...she also tried clipping her holster on and was modelling to Seven and I asking if it was cooler if the holster was sideways or straight...I dont know Mon, you're still so fat to me I cant take you seriously. lol
Make sure you get some sleep!!!

and yes this is my room...Im quite infamous for always having different shades of purple for room colors. lol

Weekly GDFT/ RANSOM visit

I dropped by the complex to say waddup to my ppl again...as always.
Blog, meet Peter (on the right side of the picture below)...dont believe what he says. He's not Vietnamese...he has too much facial hair to be Vietnamese...Hey P, give your last name back...we regular hairless Vietnamese folk don't appreciate your chia pet genes.

and shout outs to Oliver C. Welcome to the Willderness.

Skate Park/ Basketball Court

So my friend Jenn came out to chill with us yesterday because we all wanted to swim.
So Seven, Jenn and I drove out to the Hershey Center to meet up with Vince and Moe...
Hershey Center is a pretty dope place for shredding and ballin' if you're ever in the area...Its on Matheson just east of Kennedy.

Mon joined us at the pool later. I didnt take any pictures in the pool, but I do have another underwater video in the works. Hang ten friends. lol

Laundromatting...

I had to wash my blankets, machines just arent big enough at home...
and yea it might be homo that my dudes accompanied me...but so what?

Suck my back b!#@h!

I accidentally spilled ink on my sweater when I was at the Tattoo shop just before the laundromat...I shoulda took off my sweater and washed it while I was there...but I didnt want to be the silly billy standing there topless staring at a machine for like an hour.

My Tattoo Dude - Adam aka A-Bomb

I dropped DMR hair studios to check my boy Adam to book another appointment to finish up my sleeve.
(in case you guys didnt know, Adam left Rising Sun at 5 and 10 aka Hurontario and Dundas to do his own thing. So now he runs his own tattoo shop in the back of DMR).

My boy K.B. was in chair gettin more ink.
My appt is next Thursday morning...
Msg me if you need more info on Adam.

A Historic Day for Toronto Hip-Hop

Bryan once referred to him as the modern day Jesus Christ and the more and more I work with this individual, the more and more I see what Bryan meant.
He was referring to Che Kothari.
I get a phone call from Che late on Saturday asking for my assistance with a special shoot he's doing for a special project. And of course I agreed to help.
Unfortunately for you guys, I was told to keep the details of what occurred on Sunday August 10th, 2008 quiet and confidential.
I will only show you these two pictures and tell you that this day is monumental to the history of Toronto Hip-Hop culture. The building was filled with legends.
A lot of you haters may be saying, "What legends? Toronto aint got no legends."

'Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn.' - Benjamin Franklin

1 Love T.O.
Support the movement.

PS. I also dropped some photos of the newly renovated High Top Studios as requested.

Saturday Nite...(230AM-345AM)

After we grabbed Mon, we came back to Guv to wait for Wristpect and Lance...

Saturday Nite...(130AM-230AM)

*Before I get to say anything else. I want all my readers to acknowledge the importance of the 4 women in the picture above.
Meet Emmy, Val, Mon and Julia. Besides my mother and sister, there are no other women that I would care about more than these 4. I just want to say thank you for all these years of friendship and love. You guys brought new meaning to what friends, loyalty, trust and support meant to me. Obviously, I'm not going to sit here right now and write a testimonial to you guys but sincerely, thank you and I love you guys. BFF's for life! lol*

We left Sutra and headed over to Revival to pick up Mon.
Without a doubt, dropping by Revival was the highlight of the night.
I haven't seen the girls since my bday...and even then I barely got to spend any time with them.
They might not have really noticed I was there...since they were all smashed. lol

Anyhow, here are some pics...and shout outs to Juan Luv, Agile, Dustin and Taurean.

Saturday Nite...(1230AM-130AM)

We had to leave Guv to make a quick drop off at Sutra on Yonge and Eglinton.
Its amazing how my camera gets me in everywhere for free. I just show them the camera...its better than guestlist. lol
I bumped into some people while I was there and shot them (with my camera).

Saturday Nite...(1130PM-1230AM)

I know I know, Im slacking on the blog.
Funny thing is I've been slow on the blog because I have been looking for new material. I actually wanted to stay home on Saturday nite and just enjoy some cable and the Olympics, but I realized I would nothing to blog on Sunday morning.
So Addy and I decided to head out to Guverment where DJ Wristpect and Sir Lancelot spin weekly inside the D'luxe lounge. I don't even know what the special occasion was, but there was a crapload of Brazilian women that were not wearing much and dancing...not complaining. It is what it is.
So here's the first part of the night

2008 Olympics

Its 4:40am...
I just wanted to take a moment to express how happy I am that it's Olympic time again.
I am aware that there are a lot of people who reject the Olympics for whatever political views they have and tie into capitalism and corporations etc. But we can save this debate for another time, and maybe for someone else's blog.

I watched the highlights of the opening ceremony and lets say I was a bit emotional about it. It did make me glossy eyed and did give me waves of goosebumps. But I'm sure many of you had the same emotional rush as I did, whether you're willing to admit it or not.

I love the Olympics because of what it represents (at least to me...Im choosing to ignore all other bullshit on purpose). Like some of you may know, I am an idealist.
The Olympics to me represent unity amongst diversity and difference. I know its not a solution to our global issues, it wont stop poverty, racism, sexism, child labour, crime, war and genocide or create equality. But it does give me hope in humanity. It does give me hope for peace. It does give me hope for our future.

I've never been really good at ending thoughts but I just hope that everyone, at some point in the duration of the games, can really just soak in the beauty in the unity, love and harmony and just for one moment forget the differences between you and the next person, between you and the next faith, between you and the next race/culture, between you and the next sex.

Open your eyes. Change your views. See your world through a different lens. Beauty exists.

My Seedy Hipster Underground Adventure

After the Goodfoot party I headed over to a backyard in Korea town where I met up with Keesha and Sarah for a backyard going away party that was interestingly titled "40s and Bitches".

For me, it was a really nice change in pace from the regular crowd and places that I'm used to. The backyard was lit up with candles along the walls, there were turntables and gigantor speakers, leaves on walls and a 2 level balcony with a kajllion staircase steps. I only took one pic of this spot and it was on my point and shoot so excuse the quality.

We headed over to 751 after that. Call me a loser, but its the first time I've ever been there and I thought it was pretty dope. Really cool, hip, bohemian crowd. Ya dig? Didn't take too many pictures here either, but Keesha and I did create the dopest handshake in all over the universe (sorry Dame). Sorry again, this picture was taken on a point and shoot and the quality is wack.

We left 751 around 2:30am and headed over to Scrims' crib where we chilled, drank and...stuff. Around 330-4am, another 20 ppl came over and all pitched in for alcohol to be delivered...I didnt even know you could order at alcohol and have it delivered at 4 in the morn. Stayed here until 5am...lol.
Thanks to Scrims and Scotty for teaching me the light painting.

Overall, the night was very interesting to say the least. (Sorry if I dont have much to say, my adrenaline usually dies down if I dont get to blog as soon as I get home. lol)

Thank you to Keesha and Sarah for your hospitality, I do hope we can do this again soon.

ADIDAS x GOODFOOT ZX 8000 LAUNCH

Last Nite at the Goodfoot in Yorkville, we celebrated the release of the Adidas x Goodfoot ZX 8000 launch.
I always prefer the social events a lot more. Open bar (at least I think it was...I dont recall paying but I was drinking...lol), hors d'oeuvres, Dj's spinning and a nice chill atmosphere. The after party continued over at Lobby, but I wasn't able to make it there.
As always, I am not posting everything. You'll have to wait for Goodfoot or whomever to post the rest of them, but here's a peek.

One of the best T-shirts I've seen all year. Frickin hilarious.

Special thanks to Olivier. You know what it is.

The G Life With Nebby Nebbz

So Nebbz and I drove around doing absolute nothing and more nothing for the sole purpose of a video for my blog...this is what happened.

Nebbz is frickin hilarious...and also slightly retarded. But its cool.
This is a 6 minute clip...its kinda long...but I dig it.

My New Workout Plan

Im tryna be a video hoe-fessional now, so I have a new workout plan.

Note: this video may not be as exciting as the one in the pool...but oh well. lol
enjoy it anyways. If the vid sucks thats cuz Seven put together...if rocks than I did it...truth be told...I put it together still...so excuse the amateurishness.

The best part is the end...my word.

And please forgive the random 'boop' with the audio...I didnt realize where the mic was when we were recording.

Did You Know?

"Yo, I have a friend with a last name like yours. Is he your cousin? His name is John."

Excuse my language but...'No bitch!' lol

Is Frere de Jacques Smith over there or Will Smith related to John Smith too from Pochahontas times? No bitch!
lol
(sorry its my blog, and Ill talk how I want. lol Some people are just mad ignorant. )

Have you ever tried looking up Nguyen in the Yellow Pages?
Let me give you some facts you probably didn't know

1) Nguyá»…n is the most common Vietnamese family name. Approximately 40 percent of Vietnamese people are Nguyá»…n's

2) 57th most common family name in the US (according to 2000 Census), as well as the most common exclusively Asian surname

3) 7th most common family name in Australia (second only to Smith in the Melbourne phone books.

4) 54th most common in France, a massive leap from its 229th-place ranking in 1990. 124th in the Social Security Index

5) 62nd most common surname in Norway

6) 1st in list of foreign names in the Czech Republic

When the Nguyá»…n Dynasty (the descendants of the Nguyá»…n Lords) took power in 1802, some of the descendants of the Trinh Dynasty fearing retribution changed their surname to Nguyá»…n, while others fled north into China. The Nguyá»…n Dynasty awarded many people the surname Nguyá»…n during their rule, and many criminals also changed their surname to Nguyá»…n to avoid prosecution. Thus, many people having this surname are not necessarily related.

So the next time you think about messing with a Nguyá»…n...think about his family tree and walk away. lol

Dustin Nguyen

No, we're not related.

Well we could be...I have no idea. You guys may be familiar with Dustin, but I'm pretty sure most of you aren't.

A lot of people think that I am a huge comic book fanatic...not quite. More than anything, I am a
fan of art and good imagination and creativity.
A lot more people also dont know that I used to draw back then...I stopped a few years back when my life started changing (for better or worse), I couldnt stand the isolation anymore and packed up all my pencils and books. Maybe Ill scan some of my work some day and post it.

Most of you know I'm a big Batman fan and I refuse to read about any other superhero besides him...very true. He's well known for his work with DC Comics, especially with Batman...I found out about him while I was bored on the internet one night and surfing around finding Batman wallpapers...lol...it was probably a Sunday night or something, like 3 days AFTER my essay was due. lol

He's by far my favorite waterpainter and comic book artist and he's a Nguyen! Wooohooo!
Here are some of my fave pieces...

PS. This is a bit different from my usual photo or video posts. I'm taking you away from my lens for a bit so you can understand my mind and imagination a bit better...

Where Is This?

Some of you guys may figure this one out really really quickly...and some of you will never...*Will blows the whistle and waves the flag *pause

UNDERWATER STUPIDNESS VIDEO

As promised, here is the video of the homies and I underwater...and random shit.
Waterproof cameras are the shit dude!!!

The whole vid was edited and put together by seven so mad respect for that dude.

PS. dont mind the off key singing at the end of the vid...lol

Sick!

I just had to say my thanks to my homie, Jesse aka Wolf.
He designed the new banner for my blog and the picture below...thanks a lot dude. It looks crazy.

In case you dont already know...Jesse is the dude on the left in the pic below. Thanks again my dude.

Underwater Stupidness

I copped a waterproof camera today and decided to go swimming with the homies.
This is gonna be the last post for a few more hours as Seven and I edit the videos from the pool.
It's pretty cool actually. Here's a few pics that we took from underwater, but do check back in a few for the video. :)

Frack, I need to choose my damn courses for September...Im already like 2 months late...Arrrggghh!!!

Future da Prince Vs. Me...

Straight up hardcore push up competition...
Yea son!
Cut me some slack ok?...I didnt do a single push up for almost a year before this vid.
Pay attention to all the commentary in the background from T-Rexxx, Bryan and Drex. lol

I Should Really Be Sleeping...

Like really, I need to start sleeping again. School starts in a month and here I am...its cluckin' 5am and Im still up blogging!
No wonder why my mom barges into my room everyday at 2pm and tells me to get a life! lol

Anyhow...I took my wackberry and slowed down the shutter on my camera and...tada!
As you can see I am easily amazed and consumed by the dumbest things...

It's supposed to say hello...?

this sorta looks like the toronto skyline...no? fine...

my failed attempt with a smiley face...

I tried spelling my name...too bad its backwards...sigh...

Ok, for real, I'm going to bed now...gnite.

The Foreshadowing...

I know some of you guys just woke up and said...'hmmm, I wonder what awesomely mediocre activity Will did today...and I know Will likes to update his blog around 4am every morning.'

Except today was no ordinary day...I did shit all today

...until tonight that is.

We had a team meeting tonight (Addy, Lance aka Sir LanceLot, Shez aka DJ Wristpect, Jebril aka Fresh and myself) which would explain my lack of pictures for this evening.
I literally just got in and its 4:22am now...
I can't give you details about the plans yet but just know that we're plotting and scheming heavy.
You'll find out in another week's time...
Just know the clue to whatever's going down exists in the picture below.

NEVER TAKE PICTURES LIKE THIS!

Unless you believe in reincarnation...

You Can Cringe Now If You Like...

You're right. Besides the swirls of leg hair, there is nothing else interesting about this picture.

Try not to have have this blast too loud on your pc or mac...people who might not see this clip may have the wrong idea based on just the audio. lmao

Understanding Me...

I drove home from the Rick Ross party during sunrise yesterday.
Maybe it's the fact that theres barely any traffic on the Gardiner at 530am or maybe its the way the sky was lit in a deep blue shade and the way it reflects on the glass-infested skyline. Maybe it was the calm breeze and the feeling of freedom when you can drive without a roof and feel no sort of confinement. Maybe its the open space all around me that opens my mind a little.

I don't have a cool way of saying this, but I love Toronto (and the surrounding area). I have only ever left Toronto for 5 days (in total). This city is all I know. Every great memory that has ever existed in my lifetime has happened within this city.
There are a lot of people who say, 'Oh Toronto is wack.' And thats probably because they're not involved with anything. Appreciation comes with involvement. Its easy to throw rocks and stones from the other side of the fence.

The purpose of my blog, is to show you what I see and meet the people I have (virtually, if you dont already know them) that hold meaning in my life and in this city. I have been blessed with a hobby that has taken me to some pretty cool places and met some really cool people. My job with this blog is to educate and open your eyes to what is in front of you. All of the "Where Is This" posts aren't just pics I take of places that I think are cool, it's me indirectly making you more aware of you're city. I am indirectly trying to make you pay attention to your surroundings and become familiar with 'your home'. Toronto is not only what you see on a postcard. Even the events that I post on this blog are not just parties, most of the events have to do with creating a stronger and well knit city. The same is to be said about the people that I blog about.

I want you to see what I see, one frame at a time and feel what I feel, one heart beat at a time.

Originally, I wanted my blog to be something cool and fun and about gadgets and fashion, but I found it more fitting to myself to use it as a window into my life and my mind. Yes, I do leave myself more vulnerable to the public. But its ok. I want you guys to see who William Nguyen really is. I am beyond the flashing lights in the club, the fun parties, the high profile friends, the crapload of facebook albums, the girls, glitz and glam. Not to gas myself, but I am a real dude and hopefully you will come to understand me with every other post I make. I don't hide my day's events, everything is here. I even tell you about my feelings about certain individuals and update you implicitly with women in my life. Forgive me in advance if this ever gets too personal or emotional...This is my life and I'm taking you along with me for the ride.

This is my open diary...

Caribana Post Up Game

Caribana is basically over. Its 5:11am right now, if you're still posted up on Yonge St, GIVE UP. All the dime pieces were bagged at around 2-330am. If you aint back at the hotel with anyone right now, just go microwave some vaseline! LMAO

And if you's a lady and you still out there right now...jeeze, ma, you need to get on Kanye's Work Out Plan and maybe you can get yourself a 'six-pac shakur' or something.

I just had to say something about the game or lack of game dudes were playing...If you're gonna post up...post up near the starting point of the strip...like around Queen St. Get the ladies before they're annoyed. Like fuck, what are you going to say to a girl by the time she hits Wellesley? Like really now!

Lets just imagine this shit for a second.

Dude grabs shorty's hand while she walks passed.
"Yo ma, whats up? I'm the 800th guy thats hollered at you on this street. So what you saying later?"

First of all, that line should never frickin work...unless you got some mad stupid game or you've been blessed with looks from the Gods above *pause
Ok, so say she gives you her number...do you think she'll remember you?

Lets just imagine this shit for a second.

Dude calls up shorty the next day.
"Yo ma, whats good?"

"Who is this?"

"Oh snap, I'm that light skin dude that hollered at you last night on Yonge St...I kinda look like Souljah Boy and Juelz mixed together."

"Oh..."

Like fuck. lol

Is anything you're doing BRAND NEW?
Just listen to this track again mang.
No lie, I cant stop listening to this track still. PS. the track gets mad attention on Yonge St. Trust my words.

PSS. If you're dressed like Souljah Boy or still like Juelz from "Oh Boy" times...then shieeet...no comment.

Where Is This?

Come on, this should be damn easy. This is a frackin freebie!

Good Ol' Caribana Fridays

Yes, good ol' Caribana Fridays...haven't been out for one of these for 4 years now.
Not to sound like a promoter or gas up my peoples, but fuck, if you weren't at Inside yesterday, I don't know where the hell you were. lol I ain't gonna post the actual event pictures because that what I'm leaving my facebook page for....but just so u get an idea of how crazy shit was from INSIDE niteclub, let me show how crazy shit was from outside the club. lol

The lineup at 2:20am...WTF! They aint even serving alcohol anymore!

I picked up 'Be' after Inside and we just did a short cruise through Yonge St.
We tried to capture what we could while driving...
PS. We all know what the purpose of a Caribana Friday Night post-up is, so if you were wandering the streets til 5 or 6am last night and came home with no numbers or even msn or Blackberry pins...you're soft...lol.

On Mon's Block...lmao

We didn't do anything...no really...we didn't do anything.

Caught On Camera!

I would like to introduce to all of you Tse, pronounced as 'Tee-Say'.
So Tse buys himeself a bottle and says 'I dont believe in glasses or shots...real G's do real G thangs. Watch me drink this straight outta the bottle and act a complete fool.'

So I watched...and so he did.
This was only caribana Thursday, imagine what he'll do on Sunday.

Post Grad BBQ

After our trip to Narnia, we decided all drive back to Addy's and BBQ and drink our faces numb.
It was the case for most of us but not all.
Most of these pics weren't taken by me, and I was tryna enjoy the last moments of being with Remix with a lens in my face so enjoy what little I have posted.
